Dr. Noam Karsh (Ph.D.)

My research focuses on social and motor cognition, particularly emphasizing the embodiment of the ‘self’ in motor actions. My current research is dedicated to understanding the contributions of sensorimotor processes and higher-level cognition to one’s sense of agency and various aspects of human functioning, such as motor control, body representation, motivation, response inhibition, perception, and conscious experience. My research employs cognitive and experimental psychology methods, encompassing studies on typical and atypical cognitive development.
